As I look around my home I find a beautiful collection of Crystal Serving Trays & Platters and the many ways I have used them. As you may already know, I’m delighted to find new ways to use everyday items so I do not need to pack them away waiting for a special occasion. In this article, I am sharing my favorite crystal trays and how I use them around the house all year long.
There was a time when I would have prized possessions packed away or stored on a top shelf. But, what is the point of having beautiful things if you aren’t going to use them? So, I started getting creative and looking at things differently. I hope there are enough ideas on every page to give you inspiration.

This is a great example of how to adopt the trays for multi-purpose work. On special occasions either of these trays are elegant dinner service pieces. Fill these beautiful trays with delicate pastries, candies or fruit slices. When the party is over, set your trays all around the house. In the kitchen, these trays could easily display whole fruit, bread, or other items that generally gather on your kitchen counters. They certainly make cleaning easier. With everything gathered on one tray, you simply lift the tray, set it out of the way and clean the counter completely.
They can be used in the bathroom for a guest tower (soap, wash cloths, and personal care items). You can use it on your dressing table for your everyday make-up items, favorite perfumes, or everyday rings and bracelets.

Embellish Crystal Trays for the Holidays, Showers & Teas
Don’t forget to embellish your display by decorating the tray frame. For the holidays you can use garlands or Christmas ornaments.
When you are having a summer gathering, try wrapping or weaving ribbon in the color of your theme for your party. These crystal trays would make a great small gift display for weddings or showers as well.

Think about the many ways you can use specific trays to serve your guests or display things around the house. The best way to incorporate the different crystal items into your home is to keep in mind the sizes you have while you are going about your day.
Most times we can use crystal in just about any situation where we might generally use other types of liners, trays, organizers, or everyday plates.

Crystal serving trays have always held a place in my entertaining. But, I also like to use them for everyday meals, too, just to dress things up a bit. Those tiered trays are something I need to add to my collection.
